A London-based professional, Jo has a background in organizational psychology, which informs her approach to DEI strategy and implementation. Prior to her current role, which began in September 2023, Jo directed DEI efforts at LexisNexis and held senior HR positions at Reed Business Information and Carphone Warehouse, overseeing human resources for over 1100 global employees.

Jo has been open about her dyslexia, diagnosed at the age of eight, which has shaped her understanding of diverse abilities and the importance of inclusive practices. She is known for her creative problem-solving skills and quick decision-making ability. Jo advocates for environments that assess individuals on core competencies rather than inconsequential errors, emphasizing the need for psychological safety and accessibility in the workplace. Her perspective is enriched by her personal experience, driving her commitment to creating spaces where all employees, particularly those with hidden disabilities, can thrive without the need to mask their true selves.

Jo holds an MSc in Organisational Psychology from the City, University of London, further solidifying her expertise in the dynamics of workplace behavior and inclusion.
